What this website measures — and what it does not
We measure traffic to know which pages help customers and which do not. We do not build profiles of individual visitors. This page lists exactly what is stored.

Never stored
- Your IP address — not stored in any form, not even hashed
- Your browser's User-Agent string
- Your name, phone number or email — unless you type them into the contact form yourself
- Cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking
- Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any third-party measurement service
- Any link between two separate visits from the same device
- Phone numbers or emails inside search terms — stripped on the server before saving
What is stored
- Which page was opened, with filters and search terms removed from the address
- Order of pages within one visit, and how long each page was open
- Which channel brought you here — only the DOMAIN of the referring site (e.g. google.com), never the full link
- Device type: mobile / tablet / desktop. Nothing more specific
- Page language (Vietnamese or English)
- Clicks on call / Zalo / email / quote buttons, and whether a catalogue download finished
- A random visit code stored in your browser, which EXPIRES AFTER 30 MINUTES of inactivity
02Why we measure
- Know which pages customers leave from, to fix those pages
- Know which channel brings real enquiries, to stop wasting effort elsewhere
- Know what customers search for but cannot find, to stock or write about it
- Detect broken links and failed form submissions
03How long it is kept

The daily totals we keep long-term contain no visit code, no referring domain and no device string — they are counts per page and per channel, so they are no longer personal data.
04Who receives it
No one outside HKD Lighting. The data stays on our own server and our own database. We deliberately do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any other measurement service, so nothing about your visit is sent to a third party.
05Your rights
- Ask what is stored about your visit
- Ask us to delete it — copy your device code below and send it to us
- Ask us to delete a contact enquiry you sent, by giving the phone number you used
- Refuse measurement entirely: turn off JavaScript, or use your browser's tracking protection. The website still works
