LED strip creates a continuous line of light: cove lighting, under-cabinet edges, indirect light in wall recesses, or bent to shape for signage and lettering. It does not replace the main lighting — it does what main lighting cannot, adding depth and softening a space.
What stands out

Choosing the right one
The most common buying mistake: forgetting the driver. Strip is sold by the metre with wattage quoted per metre, so multiply the real length by the per-metre figure and then choose a driver with at least 20% headroom — good strip on an undersized driver runs hot and loses life quickly. The second point is location: bare strip is for dry areas inside an aluminium profile, while outdoor or damp locations need the sealed version.
