Inventronics — the brand behind the OSRAM products you already trust
If you've ever worked with OSRAM LED drivers, you're working with technology that now belongs to Inventronics. Here's what you need to know about the most important shift in LED lighting in recent years.
The OSRAM you know, now with a new name
For decades, the OSRAM name has been synonymous with quality and reliability in professional lighting. From street lighting to smart building controls, OSRAM-branded LED drivers have been the first choice of engineers and lighting designers in Vietnam.
In 2023, ams OSRAM fully divested OSRAM Digital Systems — the division behind LED drivers, LED modules, sensors and smart control systems — to Inventronics. This was no ordinary deal: the entire engineering team, technology, product base and roadmap transferred intact.
“We are striving to be the vendor of choice for components supporting the lighting industry, providing the broadest portfolio of innovative, high quality products and services. This transaction demonstrates our commitment to our customers and the lighting market globally.”
The journey from OSRAM to Inventronics
- 2023
Inventronics completes the acquisition of OSRAM Digital Systems in Europe and Asia from ams OSRAM. Around 600 staff and the entire technology base transfer over.
- 2024
Inventronics launches a unified product catalog, combining the OSRAM DS technology base with its existing LED driver ecosystem, and expands its Southeast Asia support network.
- 2025
All OSRAM Digital Systems products officially move to the Inventronics brand. OSRAM-labelled shipments end in April 2026.
- 2026+
Inventronics carries the full product roadmap forward — with the same engineers, technology and quality standards the industry has trusted for decades.
The portfolio — more complete than ever
Inventronics now holds the most complete professional lighting portfolio, serving every application from street lighting to greenhouse cultivation.
LED Drivers
Smart control systems
LED modules & light strips
Recently, ams OSRAM licensed the OSRAM brand to Eaglerise to make LED drivers. This means future products may carry the OSRAM name but not come from the original OSRAM Digital Systems engineering team. The original OSRAM Digital Systems technology and team now belong solely to Inventronics.
Why Inventronics fits the Vietnamese market

Greenhouse agriculture
SUM/NSM/Planta Seed line optimised for cultivation, up to 97% efficiency.
Commercial buildings
Smart DALI systems, integrated sensors, BMS compatible.
Frequently asked questions
Are OSRAM Digital Systems products still supported?
Yes. Inventronics continues to maintain and develop the product platforms that have been in use for many years.
I'm using an OSRAM LED driver — do I need to replace it?
No. Existing systems keep running normally and remain supported under the Inventronics roadmap.
Why are there still OSRAM-branded products on the market today?
Because the OSRAM brand has separate licensing agreements for individual product lines. The OSRAM Digital Systems technology and team, however, now belong to Inventronics.
