CRI ≥80 LED lighting

The colour rendering index (CRI, or Ra) measures how faithfully a lamp reproduces colour against natural light, on a 0–100 scale. Below 70, colours look flat and skin tones grey. CRI 80 and above is workable for most workplaces and homes. CRI 90 and above matters in showrooms, fashion retail, galleries and anywhere paint or fabric colour is judged — places where customers buy based on the colour they see. The trade-off: at equal wattage, higher-CRI lamps usually deliver slightly fewer lumens, so raising CRI means recalculating quantity rather than swapping one for one.
