5700K LED lighting

Colour temperature decides whether a room feels warm or alert — it has nothing to do with how bright the light is. People notice it the moment they walk in, even without knowing the term: warmer light feels relaxed and comfortable, cooler light makes everything look crisp and awake.

Choose by what the room is for. Warm light (2700K–3000K) suits bedrooms, hotels, restaurants and cafes. Neutral (4000K) is the safe level for offices, showrooms and supermarkets — clear without being harsh. Cool white (5700K–6500K) suits factories, warehouses and car parks, where detail matters and people need to stay alert through a shift.

The most common retrofit mistake is mixing two levels in one area. On the same ceiling, 3000K next to 4000K reads as patchy yellow and white even at identical wattage and output — and it is the kind of mistake you fix by taking fittings down, not by adjusting anything. Keep one temperature per area, and change it only where you are deliberately separating functions.
