Sports court LED lighting

Pickleball, tennis and five-a-side courts share one principle: bright enough, uniform, and not glaring into players' eyes when tracking the ball. Glare is the most common failure — floodlights mounted too low or aimed into the sightline lose the ball on high shots even when measured illuminance meets the standard. The fix is taller poles and narrower beams, not more wattage. Outdoor courts need IP65 or better and housings that survive constant sun and rain. Courts that are filmed need a flicker figure too, since cheap fixtures band on camera. HKD Lighting stocks genuine floodlights from 100W to 1800W with photometric data for layout planning before installation.

Target illuminance for this space: 75 lux (EN 12464-1)
